Job Responsibility
Provides education and training for Health Care Professionals
Provides first line phone and/or on site clinical / technical support / troubleshooting for equipment and products
Seeks support from the relevant member of the Business on an as required basis
Plans, prepares, promotes, attends and delivers workshops, seminars and conferences as required
Keeps accurate records of all educational activities
Provides support for the sales organization
Trains new PD patients on general concept of end stage renal disease (ESRD), renal replacement therapies (RRT) and PD products
Trains the APD patients (how) to use Baxter’s PD cycler and troubleshoot
Implements patients retention programs with Renal team
Supports and performs quality home visits for renal patients and sends home visit assessment to Health Care Professionals
Reinforces treatment expectations established by the physician, reviews potential product benefits and side effects and reports adverse events and quality issues
Consistently complies and implements all company policies, procedures and processes
Actively participates in the process of quality improvement
Develops and enhances relationships with all levels of external and internal customers
Maintains and develops professional and educational credibility
Act as a trainer and mentor for less experienced Clinical Coordinators in the team
Further relevant responsibilities/ tasks as advised from time to time by your Manager
Requirements
Patient educator experience with knowledge / ability to interpret clinical papers
Strong interpersonal skill
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
Good command of English
Good knowledge of MS Office environment
Driving license cat B
Nice to have
Nursing education or other medical equivalent
Experience in the relevant therapeutic area e.g. Renal or Intensive Care
Experience with Customer Relation Management and/or Sales Force Automation tools
