Job Description:

We’re looking for warm, thoughtful, and client-centred Therapists, Counsellors, and Psychologists in New Zealand to join our remote care team. As a MantraCare Therapist, you will support individuals across New Zealand and internationally who are seeking help with stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, workplace pressure, personal transitions, or overall emotional growth. You can offer sessions through chat, voice, or video — giving you the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while maintaining a natural, comfortable connection with your clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build genuine therapeutic relationships with clients in a safe, respectful, and confidential virtual environment
  • Provide supportive counseling and evidence-based guidance through chat, audio, or video sessions
  • Help clients understand their emotions, strengths, and patterns while encouraging personal growth
  • Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans that honor each client’s unique journey
  • Document sessions clearly and ethically
  • Collaborate with our wellness team when additional support is needed

Requirements:

  • A psychology or counseling graduate, or a trained mental health professional
  • Comfortable supporting clients remotely using digital platforms
  • Fluent in English (other languages are a bonus)
  • Reliable, ethical, and committed to continuous growth

Nice to have:

  • Experience in online counseling or mental-health support
  • Exposure to CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness-based approaches, or trauma-aware care
  • Registration or licensing (where applicable)
