Job Description:

Lead Communications and Public Affairs for a Business Unit. Work directly with the VP and BU Head. Work with Global Team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher
advanced degree preferred
8–10 years of experience in growth-oriented, strategic communication roles
Experience in healthcare or policy-making environments (preferred)
Proactive mindset with strong strategic thinking abilities to develop effective engagement strategies for patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders
Exceptional Japanese communication skills (written, verbal, and visual)
High-level English communication skills (written, verbal, and visual) strongly preferred
In-depth understanding of Japanese media with experience in direct engagement with journalists
Excellent communication and coordination skills within complex organizations, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Strong project management skills, capable of independently managing projects across locations and time zones
Ability to balance short- and long-term priorities
Budget and agency management experience

Nice to have:

Advanced degree in a relevant field
Proven experience managing communication efforts within a multinational environment
