Job Description:

Piper Companies is seeking a Therapeutic Strategy Lead on behalf of a mid‑sized Australia‑based CRO. This highly visible, client‑facing position focuses on creating scientifically sound, operationally feasible, and commercially competitive development strategies across key therapeutic areas, with a strong emphasis on Neuroscience. This role is fully remote and requires working U.S. business hours.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the principal therapeutic expert during proposal creation, bid defenses, and early development planning, offering strategic insights and identifying potential risks and mitigation pathways
  • Develop and maintain high‑value relationships with Principal Investigators, academic leaders, and top‑enrolling sites to support data quality, enrollment efficiency, and operational success
  • Provide scientific leadership for protocol design, feasibility assessments, and regulatory strategy, ensuring global medical and clinical standards are consistently met

Requirements:

  • Advanced scientific or medical degree required
  • MD s and experience in Neuro
  • Extensive scientific knowledge with proven credibility in therapeutic strategy and clinical development
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with PIs and KOLs
  • an established network within relevant therapeutic areas is a plus
  • Experience in late‑phase research and demonstrated contributions to commercial‑facing strategy within a sponsor, CRO, or academic environment
