Thematic Anchor – Agri Finance

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in agri and rural finance sector with hands on experience of working in farmer and FPO / agri MSME financing
• Should have adequate understanding of the agriculture and priority sector lending landscape
• Should have experience of working with either (i) financial institutions (banks / NBFCs) and / or their partners (agtechs) with understanding of agri lending products (warehouse financing, KCC, FPO, agri value chain and SME financing) OR (ii) consulting experience in agri finance sector with experience of handling such projects of scale and scope earlier
• Preference would be given to candidates who have combination of agri lending and consulting experience besides understanding of climate smart agriculture financing
• Experience of database management and / or geospatial data mining would be a definite advantage though not a prerequisite
• Post-Graduate / Master’s degree in finance / business administration / banking / development economics / rural management or a closely related field
