Job Responsibility:

Proactively engage customers in need of assistance, accurately identify their requirements through insightful questioning, and recommend optimal home solutions
Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, Introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels
Keep the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked
Express enthusiasm for IKEA products by consistently expanding knowledge of their features and benefits
Understand the store and department action plans
Implement, maintain and change out Add-Ons throughout the store
Optimize sales and maintain profitability by guiding customers toward high-priority and best-selling products
Demonstrate the ability to analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters
Support the implementation and upkeep of planned commercial activities
Develop specialized knowledge through training to be able to sell and plan basic modular furniture solutions
Contributes to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers

Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
1 year's relevant work experience
Experience in retail, preferably in the home furnishing sector
Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs
