Job Description:

Step up as a Department Supervisor at JD Sports! Lead by example, support your team, and deliver standout service, strong visuals, and great results in your department every day. At JD Sports, our customer is at the heart of everything we do. As a Department Supervisor, you will support the store management team by leading your department in providing exceptional customer service to every JD customer. You will be responsible for maintaining the merchandising & visual standards and sales results within your department. Leading by example, you will coach and develop your team to deliver great in-store experiences.

Job Responsibility:

  • Model exceptional customer service, every customer, every time
  • Support and guide team to deliver exceptional service and a 'service over task' environment
  • Actively gain, maintain and share product & brand knowledge for your department
  • Support management team to improve financial performance within your department
  • Work with back of house team to ensure product availability
  • Uphold company standards and deliver store visual excellence

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience within retail or like industry
  • Passionate about delivering an amazing service experience for customers
  • Positive attitude, with capacity to create a motivating environment for your team
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely manner
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, someone who thrives in social situations through engagement with customers and team members
