Job Description:

We are looking for you to join the Safety Team in Quality Assurance. When it comes to safety, every line of code counts. At the same time, we shape the future of CODESYS: As part of the 'SAFE/FUTURE' team, we work closely on developing the next generation of our web-based products – always with a focus on the highest safety standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Management and coordination of functional safety in software projects (functional safety management)
  • Planning, implementation and monitoring of release tests for safety-relevant software components
  • Development and implementation of test strategies to ensure quality and safety
  • Validation of safety-critical software solutions in accordance with applicable norms and standards
  • Maintenance and further development of the test infrastructure with regard to functional safety requirements

Requirements:

  • A completed apprenticeship or degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, computer science, or a comparable field
  • Experience in functional safety and standards such as IEC 61508, ISO 26262 or comparable
  • Knowledge in quality assurance, testing methodologies, and ideally in test automation
  • A structured, analytical, and detail-oriented way of working
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion and enthusiasm for developing and optimizing test environments and strategies for functional safety
