Job Description:

Automation tester required to have in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area (KYC preferred). Strong analytical skills, communication, and diplomacy are required for the role, among other skills. The role includes responsibilities around creating automation frameworks, leading a team, participating in CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Operate with considerable autonomy and discretion
influence the way an application is designed and developed by providing specific subject expertise
analyze and troubleshoot coding, application performance and design challenges
create the Frameworks and Test Scripts
lead and mentor a team of automation engineers
create reusable frameworks, libraries, and templates to accelerate automation and testing of KYC Projects
participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and maintain best practices
ensure tooling can be run in CI/CD, providing real-time on-demand test execution
perform regression, integration, sanity testing, and automated suites
own and drive automation in Data and Analytics Team
design and develop integrated portal to consolidate utilities
support automation testing requirements for process and product rollout
implement appropriate automation scripts/plans for testing
monitor and review code from peers
collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to define testing requirements
analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues
research and implement new testing tools
contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards
manage SQL databases for test data and verify test results
utilize Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.

Requirements:

Development experience in a fast-paced, time-to-market driven environment
experience with test automation, test scenario and test scripts creation and modification
comfortable with writing complex queries
experience with reporting tools
hands-on experience with testing automation tools
financial – KYC knowledge is preferable
3-4 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation
extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java
strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases
experience with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration
experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
experience with API testing tools (e.g., RestAssured, Postman)
strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
experience with Agile methodologies.
