As a Testing Engineer, you play a key role in bringing nextgeneration USVs, ROVs and sensor systems to life. This handson, sitebased role sits at the core of our global operations, where precision, curiosity and problemsolving directly impact the performance of our cuttingedge marine technology. From Factory and Harbour Acceptance Testing to troubleshooting, verification and early commissioning support, you ensure every asset meets the highest standards before going to sea. Working closely with production, engineering, commissioning and testing teams, you help refine testing frameworks, improve reliability and deliver missionready vessels. Job Responsibility:
Execute predefined testing criteria according to schedule and quality standards
Configure vessel parameters and prepare assets for testing
Perform failure-mode verification and troubleshoot hardware, software and integration issues
Replicate faults, identify root causes and document findings and resolutions
Provide input to engineering and testing teams on test objectives and success criteria
Support handover and knowledge transfer during soft landing of assets in Plymouth
Maintain configuration control, calibration records, inventories and all test documentation
Ensure safety, quality and compliance while contributing to risk assessments and audits
Requirements:
Solid educational foundation and relevant industry experience
Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly for onsite work
Hands-on experience as a field technician or offshore engineer
Understanding of vessel systems and subsystems, from installation through testing
Excellent English language skills
Comfort working with modern ICT tools
