The Specialized Analytics Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Job Responsibility:

Work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies
Identifies and compiles data sets using a variety of tools (e.g. SQL, Access) to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business to business outcomes
Responsible for documenting data requirements, data collection / processing / cleaning, and exploratory data analysis
which may include utilizing statistical models / algorithms and data visualization techniques
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
Effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability
Requirements:
5-8 years of experience
Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Problem solving, root cause analysis skills
Ability to focus on multiple priorities and drive solutions in a fast paced working environment
Relevant work experience in data quality, data analytics, data management within the financial services industry
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
At least 3 years of experience in similar position
At least 3 years leading technical teams
Experience in regulatory environments (banking/financial), with high demand for controls or compliance
Ability to lead, motivate and develop technical profiles
Ability to coordinate sessions with stakeholders
Results-oriented with impact on business
Excellent oral and written communication
Analytical thinking
