Job Description

We're looking for a Manual Tester / Support Engineer to join a FinTech project focused on an app that manages invoice collection for global companies. In this role, you'll manually test the system, support users and help identify and resolve technical issues. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, checking if things work correctly and working with different teams to improve the system.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the main contact for handling user support requests and system issues
  • Investigate, replicate and clearly document bugs and data irregularities
  • Manually test new features, fixes and updates to ensure quality before release
  • Create and maintain clear test cases, release notes and user support documentation
  • Collaborate with developers to prioritise and resolve issues efficiently
  • Support user onboarding, provide training and gather feedback to help improve the system
  • Monitor data accuracy and consistency within the system's MySQL database and related components
  • Take part in regression testing during release cycles to ensure overall system stability

Requirements

  • Background in support, quality assurance or testing within a software or data-focused setting
  • Good knowledge of manual testing processes and how to track and manage bugs
  • Basic skills in SQL (ideally MySQL) and the ability to explore and analyse data using queries or simple scripts
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to work well with both technical teams and non-technical users
  • Well-organised, proactive and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with testing web front-end applications, especially those built with Vue.js
  • Familiarity with issue-tracking tools like JIRA or GitHub Issues
  • Understanding of financial systems, business processes or internal operational tools
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

What we offer

  • 100% remote job with flexible working hours
  • Friendly and supportive team, with chances to grow into QA automation or DevOps as the company grows
  • Be part of a FinTech project that supports a system handling massive volumes of financial transactions for global clients
