Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Test & Verification Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This is a hybrid role based in Gloucester, with an expectation of on‑site working three days per week.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design & develop comprehensive verification test plans
  • Prepared repeatable and reliable test cases aligned with system requirements
  • Perform embedded software testing, utilising automation where possible
  • Conduct hands-on hardware testing using laboratory equipment
  • Review and refine requirements to ensure they are clear, measurable, and testable
  • Analyse test data and produce clear reports

Requirements:

  • Expertise in defining and implementing V&V strategies
  • Formal software testing, including manual and automated test case development
  • Proven experience testing embedded systems
  • Experienced in the use of requirements management tools and processes
  • Able to interpret of technical documentation, including electronic schematics and datasheets
  • Ability to operate laboratory instrumentation and test equipment
  • Good experience working in Agile development environments
  • 5+ years of commercial experience across all aspects of validation and verification throughout the full product development lifecycle
  • Strong technical background in testing embedded software on electronic systems
  • Must be able to work in the UK without VISA Sponsorship
