Job Description

Randstad are seeking an afternoon shift Test Room Technician at our clients manufacturing and design facility in Keysborough. Our client is an Australian Manufacturer of Electricity Supply Monitoring and Protection Equipment. Casual ongoing role with potential to go permanent for the right candidate. PAY OVER $52 FOR AFTERNOON SHIFT. Hours: 2:10pm-10:16pm (Mon-Fri) ; 38 hours/week (first 2-4 week training will be 7am-3:45pm Mon-Thurs and 7am-12pm Friday).

Job Responsibility

  • Production testing, fault diagnosis and repair and warranty servicing of electrical and electronic products
  • Final quality inspections
  • Microprocessor based fault finding is essential, as is experience with both SMT and THT assemblies
  • Complete test documentation in a clear and concise manner

Requirements

  • Two years experience working in a production test environment and have experience related to analogue and digital electronic as well as electromechanical assemblies
  • Certificate or Diploma related to Electrical or Electronic technology
  • Police Check
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Australian Citizen or resident
