Position Overview: The Test Technician is responsible for meeting departmental production goals related to scheduling, quality, and training. The position also ensures compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) to support the company's commitment to quality excellence and overall company growth objectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Confirm work orders in SAP
  • Record test data in Aegis
  • Conduct production testing of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies
  • Repair/troubleshoot to component level for test failures
  • Help with Test/Repair RMA units as directed
  • Work with Test Engineering and/or customers as needed to review new test procedures and recommend changes
  • Cleaning and organizing area as needed
  • Maintain material traceability as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1 year of electronics circuit testing and troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to work well as a team
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand schematic drawings, assembly drawings, Bills of Materials, Work Instructions, & test procedures
  • Familiarity with IPC-610 accept/reject criteria regarding printed circuit board assemblies
  • Ability to interpret component manufacturer's data sheets on package design, part and lot numbers, correct orientation, or other technical data as required
