Job Description:

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Test Manger – Guidewire based in England for an initial 6 month contract.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in software testing
  • At least 5 years in a Test Manager or QA Lead role on Guidewire Testing and Insurance domain
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire Policy Center / Guidewire Claim Center implementation or upgrade projects
  • Strong understanding of insurance claims processes-FNOL, coverage verification, investigation, adjudication, payments, recoveries, and subrogation
  • Strong understanding of insurance domain processes-policy administration, quoting, rating, underwriting, and renewals, Claim Center
  • Proficiency in test management tools
  • Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy specific to Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation
  • Develop detailed test plans covering configuration, integration, conversion, and end-to-end testing
  • Identify testing scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements aligned with project milestones
  • Establish test environment setup and data management strategies for PolicyCenter testing
  • Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Tosca, GTF)
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Hands on QE Test Delivery Management for Guidewire ( minimum 5+ years Guidewire experience with multiple projects)
  • Deep functional and domain understanding of Guidewire
  • Experience in managing 50+QE team
  • Strong personality with very strong communication skill, stakeholder management
  • Strong QE background
  • Managing Client QE leaders
  • Knowledge of QE MI reporting
  • QE delivery, Escalation handling
  • Ability to train QE Engineers on Guidewire

Nice to have:

  • Guidewire certification (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter Testing Specialist or equivalent)
  • Exposure to London market/specialty insurance
  • Familiarity with Performance and security testing
