As a part of the team, you will deliver technology stack, using strong analytical and problem solving skills to understand the business requirements and deliver quality solutions. You'll be working on complex technical problems that will involve detailed analytical skills and analysis. This will be done in conjunction with fellow engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Development and implementation of comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with established quality standards
  • Creation and execution automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools to facilitate early detection of defects and quality issues
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria, ensuring a thorough understanding of the software being tested
  • Root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed information and support defect resolution
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations, and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth

Requirements:

  • Sound understanding of Java/JVM architecture, JVM tuning, GC, Class loading, Thread Dump Analysis, JMX based JVM monitoring
  • Good understanding of Oracle Architecture. SQL, PL/SQL, performance stats, SQL tuning, tracing tools, fragmentation, partitions, familiarity with at least one Oracle tool such as TOAD
  • Able to analyze the CPU utilization, memory usage, JVM heap memory, garbage collection, DB connections and DB queries
  • Have a thorough understanding of architecture, infrastructure, Impact assessment of the VPT request and scope identification
  • Prepare performance test strategy, Risk and mitigation of various stages and review performance test plans
  • Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability
  • Reviewing the test scripts, workload model, test execution results summary and final test closure report
  • Conduct defect triage meetings, analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for defect fixes
  • Generate test summary reports for management review, present the report to the business, solution architect and LSS team and secure the approvals
  • Co-ordinate with different VPT teams for final E2E performance testing report and approvals for governance
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Wily Introscope
  • Identify the bottlenecks using APM tools and provide suggestions/recommendations to resolve the issues
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience in Agile environments and cross-team collaboration

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of load balancers mechanisms, virtual servers, virtual pools, rules, connection & cookie persistence
  • Experience in network monitoring parameters along with cloud infrastructure & monitoring
  • Develop automated (CI/CD pipeline) test scenarios and environments for performance testing
  • Proactively identify potential delivery related issues and devise mitigation plan
  • Measure results against business and technical requirements
