We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to join our Test Management Organization and lead quality assurance efforts across large-scale enterprise initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands-on testing leader with strong retail domain experience who can drive test strategy, execution, and delivery across complex omni-channel and supply chain systems. The Test Lead will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project managers to ensure high-quality software delivery on time.
Job Responsibility:
Lead testing activities for large enterprise projects or multiple concurrent projects
Define and deliver test strategy, test plans, test scope, and test status reporting
Provide leadership and accountability for all manual testing activities
Assist with onboarding and mentoring QA team members
Drive end-to-end testing activities including test case development, execution, and defect management
Coordinate testing across multiple teams, vendors, and onshore/offshore resources
Manage testing schedules based on priorities, risks, and team strengths
Ensure readiness for UAT, including environment setup, test data preparation, and defect triage
Communicate effectively with IT and business leadership through verbal and written updates
Independently drive issues to resolution and escalate risks when necessary
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
Apply data-driven analysis to support testing decisions
Successfully multitask across project and non-project assignments while meeting delivery timelines
Requirements:
5–7 years of testing experience with demonstrated test leadership on enterprise projects
Strong retail domain experience (required)
Hands-on experience with Omni-Channel, Order Management, and Warehouse Management systems
Proven experience leading end-to-end integration testing across POS, Web, OMS, Financial, and WMS systems
Experience with tools such as Manhattan WMS, POS systems, and SAP CAR
Prior experience coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile
Experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models
Strong proficiency with HP ALM, JIRA, or similar test and defect management tools
Excellent organizational, planning, documentation, and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with proactive participation in a team environment
High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results
