The Test Manager is responsible for defining, leading, and governing the test strategy for Salesforce and enterprise technology solutions within a regulated financial services environment. The role ensures that testing activities deliver high‑quality, compliant, and scalable solutions, aligned with business needs, architectural standards, and regulatory requirements. The Test Manager provides leadership across functional, non‑functional, and regression testing, ensuring predictable and controlled releases.
Job Responsibility
Define and own the end‑to‑end test strategy across Salesforce and integrated enterprise platforms
Establish testing standards, processes, and quality gates aligned with enterprise governance and regulatory expectations
Ensure coverage across functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing
Act as the point of accountability for test quality and release readiness
Create and manage test plans, test schedules, resource plans, and dependencies
Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and workstreams
Manage test execution cycles, defect management, and retesting activities
Ensure testing aligns with sprint, release, and deployment plans
Oversee testing for Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Cloud
Ensure test coverage for configurations, integrations, data, and security models
Validate non‑functional requirements including performance, scalability, and resilience
Ensure data integrity and accuracy through controlled test data management
Own defect triage, prioritisation, and resolution processes
Identify quality risks early and drive mitigation plans in collaboration with delivery teams
Provide clear quality status, metrics, and risk reporting to stakeholders
Ensure no critical defects or compliance risks are introduced into production
Drive test automation strategy and adoption (functional and regression)
Promote shift‑left testing and integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines
Ensure effective use of test management and defect‑tracking tools
Balance automated and manual testing based on risk and business criticality
Ensure testing artefacts meet audit and regulatory requirements
Support UAT governance, business sign‑off, and traceability of requirements to test outcomes
Ensure security and data‑privacy considerations are validated through testing
Lead and mentor test teams and test leads
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and Scrum Masters
Support continuous improvement in test processes, quality metrics, and delivery outcomes
Promote a strong quality culture across delivery teams
Requirements
Proven experience as a Test Manager in complex technology delivery environments
Strong understanding of end‑to‑end testing methodologies and quality assurance practices
Experience managing large and distributed test teams
Experience testing Salesforce or CRM platforms
Understanding of Salesforce configurations, integrations, data models, and security
Experience testing integrations, APIs, and data flows
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
Strong planning, coordination, and dependency‑management skills
Ability to align testing with iterative delivery while maintaining governance
Experience defining and managing test automation strategies
Familiarity with test management, defect tracking, and CI/CD tools
Understanding of performance and non‑functional testing is desirable
Strong communication and reporting skills
Ability to provide clear quality assessments and release‑readiness recommendations
Experience working in regulated environments (financial services preferred)
