Test Engineer

• Component engineering
• Work with the engineers to choose alternative components and update the BOM list
• Work with the project managers to purchase components and track shipments
• Work with the engineers to engage the suppliers
• Building and testing prototyping devices
• Construct, test, and repair prototype devices under test, including cables and connectors
• Troubleshoot prototype devices using documentation and inputs from design engineers
• PCBA rework and soldering

• Read electronic schematics and mechanical drawings
• Familiar with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, and other standard lab equipment
• Able to work under dynamic, time constraints, and multitasking conditions
• Self-starter and always willing to learn
• High sense of responsibility and urgency towards work assignments
• Associate degree or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years experience
