Exciting Opportunity: Test Engineer (Optical & XR Technology) Are you passionate about the future of Extended Reality (XR)? We are representing a global leader in advanced technology solutions seeking a skilled Test Engineer. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge test solutions for next-generation display modules, including Micro LED, LCOS, and optical waveguides.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop Advanced Test Solutions for XR display modules (Micro LED, LCOS, optical waveguides), focusing on critical metrics like brightness, contrast, color gamut, FOV, and distortion
  • Build and refine automated optical testing systems to drive mass-production yield and testing accuracy
  • Develop, debug, and maintain specialized optical equipment, including sensors, light sources, and image acquisition systems
  • Write software for data acquisition, analysis, and visualization using Python, C++, LabVIEW, or similar tools
  • Partner with optical design, manufacturing, and algorithm teams to set global testing standards and documentation
  • Analyze performance data to identify limitations and suggest hardware or process improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Optics, Physics, Optical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Solid understanding of geometrical and physical optics with hands-on experience in calibrating and operating optical test equipment
  • Independent capability in Python, C++, or MATLAB for developing automation tools and data processing scripts
  • 2–3 years in optical testing, ideally working with XR display modules or automated production systems
