This is a shopfloor, production test role supporting operations in a high-reliability, regulated environment. You’ll be responsible for setting up and running production tests on a variety of electronic and electromechanical products, following documented procedures, and completing test documentation. The work is project-based, with new systems and products coming through regularly — it’s not repetitive end-of-line testing.
Job Responsibility:
Setting up test equipment and carrying out production testing in line with defined test procedures
Testing a range of electronic boards, interfaces, cables and multi-servo systems
Using some ATE / test interfaces as part of the production test environment
Fault-finding test failures and feeding back to Production and Manufacturing Engineering to support process improvements
Raising MRBs / defect reports where required
Supporting other members of the Test team and working to production deadlines
Maintaining and repairing test equipment where necessary
Requirements:
Hands-on electronics or electromechanical test knowledge
Involvement working in a controlled / regulated environment such as aerospace, defence, medical or similar high-reliability industries
Comfortable following formal test procedures and completing documentation
Fault-finding skills across electronic assemblies and systems
