Job Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our WebCAD team, contributing to both manual and automated testing. Our product is a key component in 3Shape dental workflows. It offers a powerful web-based CAD model viewer and editor. We share a strong focus on quality, reliability, performance, and user experience and are responsible for all aspects of our product, including algorithms, user interfaces, backend services, and CI/CD pipelines. Initiative and ownership are key for us. We support our team in leading impactful change, promoting a collaborative and well-balanced workplace built on respect and growth. Like most teams at 3Shape, we use Agile methodology as our primary approach to software development.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software testing experience (manual and automated)
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and QA processes
  • Experience creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, test data, and test environments
  • Ability to analyze product requirements and convert them into test scenarios and test cases
  • Experience in developing and maintaining automated UI and/or API tests
  • Understanding of test automation concepts and best practices
  • Experience with defect lifecycle management and bug-tracking tools
  • Experience with functional and non-functional testing (regression, integration, system, smoke, performance)
  • Experience in web application testing
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills and good in written and spoken English
  • Excited about cross-site work: Your team is in Copenhagen and Kyiv and our partners are around the globe.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira)
  • Understanding of web technologies (HTTP, REST, JSON, browser dev tools)
  • Experience with API testing (Postman)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git or similar)
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in performance or security testing tools
  • Familiar with Scrum or another Agile framework
