Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer with a strong focus on debugging and improving efficiency. This role is critical in ensuring product and platform performance, driving root cause investigation, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance platform/production efficiency rate. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including repair and process engineers, as well as quality, manufacturing, and sustaining teams, to assist the production or repair team across all platforms.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform failure investigations on low-efficiency platforms or repair lines using diagnostic and QC tools such as cause-and-effect diagrams, control charts, Pareto, and other QC tools to identify root causes, performance stability, and prioritize corrective actions
  • Study test data to identify efficiency detractors and process anomalies and implement corrective actions and improvement strategies across all platforms/repair lines
  • Collaborate with process, quality, and sustaining teams to resolve hardware, process-related, and software issues, and document findings for continuous learning
  • Provide feedback to design and process teams to assist ongoing product and process enhancements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with PCB-level debugging and automated test equipment (ATE)
  • Experience in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment
  • Strong in problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Nice to have:

Familiarity with Teradyne testers or similar platforms is a plus
