Job Responsibility:
Design and develop cost-effective testing methods for systems and equipment throughout product development and manufacturing
Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and create detailed specifications and procedures for new products
Work with internal and external stakeholders to influence decisions and drive company objectives
Collaborate with Supplier Engineering Technology (SET) global commodity heads, account teams, and other SET members to ensure seamless integration
Design and develop test fixtures for Gas Delivery systems to support advanced manufacturing processes
Organize and lead internal and external review meetings, ensuring alignment and progress
Provide key technical analysis to support problem-solving and continuous improvement
Interface with suppliers’ personnel to deliver technical solutions for electrical/electronic challenges
Partner with other Test Engineers to develop optimal troubleshooting methodologies
Drive ongoing yield/process improvements and ensure product sustainability within the Remote Factory
Requirements:
Strong technical background in test engineering and troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide actionable technical insights
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and with global stakeholders
Experience in designing test fixtures and working with complex systems (Electromechanical Assemblies experience is a plus)
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years related working experience in the Manufacturing and Semiconductor environment
Capable of electrical circuit testing and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of Test Stand, Labview, C#, Python, or other scripting languages
Proven track record of managing technical projects to completion while accomplishing goals
Experience with control systems utilized in process automation and serial communication protocols: Device Net, Ethercat, RS 485, RS 232
Solid understanding of various problem solving, quality improvement tools and techniques This includes 8D / 5 why, Kepner Tregoe methodology, Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), preventive and corrective actions, Continuous Improvement method and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
