Job Responsibility:
Ensure high quality, performance and reliability of new product or product in transition prior to manufacturing release
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, identify bugs and inconsistencies, and work with product engineering teams to drive timely issue resolution
Own and drive test sustainment issue closure, ensuring seamless manufacturing ramp and meet targeted shipment dateline
Collaborate closely with Supplier Engineering Technology (SET) global commodity heads, account teams, and other cross functional stakeholders to enable smooth product and test integration
Organize and lead internal and external technical review meetings, ensuring alignment, risk visibility and continuous progress towards issue closure
Provide critical technical analysis and data driven insights to support root cause analysis, corrective action and continuous improvement
Interface directly with suppliers to deliver and implement technical solutions, including test fixture enhancements and solutions
Drive ongoing yield, process and reliability improvements and ensure long-term product sustainability within the remote factory environment
This role requires 20–30% travel (domestic and international), subject to business needs
Requirements:
Strong technical expertise in test engineering, with demonstrated capability in systematic troubleshooting and failure analysis
Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to distill complex technical challenges into clear, actionable insights
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and with global stakeholders
Hands-on experience in driving test KPI improvement and working on complex systems (familiar with wafer handling equipment a plus)
Experience in test code modification, including test case/option addition, automation, optimization and standardization initiatives
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Capable of electrical circuit testing and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of Test Stand, Labview, C#, Python, or other scripting languages
Proven track record of managing technical projects to completion while accomplishing goals
Experience with control systems utilized in process automation and serial communication protocols: Device Net, Ethercat, RS 485, RS 232
Solid understanding of various problem solving, quality improvement tools and techniques This includes 8D / 5 why, Kepner Tregoe methodology, Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), preventive and corrective actions, Continuous Improvement method and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
