Job Description:

Senior-level position responsible for spearheading the design, development, and implementation of new and enhanced application systems and programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong understanding of modern software development practices including Kotlin, React, and Test-Driven Development (TDD), and will be adept at leading and mentoring a team of developers.

Job Responsibility:

Spearhead design, development, and implementation of new and enhanced application systems and programs
Collaborate with cross-functional management teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes
Provide technical leadership and expertise in application programming
Champion and implement modern software development methodologies
Develop and enforce coding standards, testing procedures, debugging protocols
Analyze complex business processes and system workflows
Propose innovative solutions to address business challenges
Mentor and coach mid-level developers and analysts
Maintain strong focus on risk management and compliance

Requirements:

12-15 years of relevant experience in application development or systems analysis
Proven track record of successful project delivery
Extensive experience in software application design, development, and implementation
Strong proficiency in Kotlin for backend development
Strong proficiency in React for frontend development
Demonstrated experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and associated frameworks
Deep understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and best practices
Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Nice to have:

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Master's degree preferred
