We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Center Administrator to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a secure and well-organized testing environment for candidates. This is a long-term contract position, offering part-time hours with a flexible schedule, including availability on Saturdays and occasional evenings.
Job Responsibility:
Greet examinees, verify identification, and ensure everyone feels welcomed and supported
Conduct security checks, including the use of wands, to maintain a safe and compliant testing environment
Monitor candidates throughout the testing process to ensure a fair and uninterrupted experience
Address and resolve candidate concerns promptly and courteously
Safeguard testing materials and ensure the integrity of the test center at all times
Prepare detailed reports to document any incidents or issues that arise during testing
Perform administrative tasks such as scanning documents and maintaining candidate records
Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems and equipment within the test center
Escort candidates to and from the testing room as required, ensuring smooth operations
Represent the organization’s values by delivering exceptional customer service
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
college experience is a plus
At least one year of in-person customer service experience, such as in retail, hospitality, or a call center, is essential
Strong ability to communicate effectively and professionally with candidates and team members
Proficiency in using Windows-based applications, including Office and Outlook
Capable of multitasking and handling small tools for equipment setup or shipping tasks
Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds as part of the role
Comfortable remaining stationary for extended periods and moving through the test room regularly
Strong attention to detail and ability to write accurate reports and correspondence
