We are looking for a dependable Test Center Administrator to support a secure, organized, and welcoming testing environment in Worthington, Ohio. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with the public, following established procedures, and handling administrative tasks with accuracy. The person in this role will help protect exam integrity while ensuring each test taker is treated respectfully throughout their visit.
Job Responsibility
Welcome test takers upon arrival, review identification carefully, and guide them through the check-in process
Carry out required security procedures, including the use of screening tools, to uphold testing standards
Observe candidates throughout their exams and respond promptly to concerns, disruptions, or irregular activity
Keep testing rooms, materials, and records secure to preserve confidentiality and exam integrity at all times
Document incidents clearly and escalate matters that fall outside established guidelines when needed
Support a fair and comfortable experience for every candidate by providing clear, detail-oriented assistance and instructions
Complete administrative support tasks such as scanning documents, handling clerical work, and managing routine front-desk activity
Assist with operational tasks that may include packing, unpacking, or handling small equipment as required by the site
Maintain schedule flexibility to align with testing center hours and business needs
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is required
college coursework is a plus
At least 1 year of in-person customer service experience is required, such as work in retail, hospitality, food service, or a similar setting
Must meet the minimum age requirement for the position
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and coworkers
Ability to prepare accurate reports and written documentation with attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a structured, process-driven environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and common office applications, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web browsers
Ability to perform document scanning and general clerical or receptionist-style duties as part of daily operations
