We're on the lookout for a Test Automation Engineer (Web) to join our team working on a social news aggregation platform.

Job Responsibility

  • Automate and maintain test suites for different features on Web app
  • Increase automation coverage and fix tests to maintain pass rate
  • Monitor hourly and PR test execution reports
  • Raise issues when they’re found
  • Support weekly release validations
  • Manual testing for not automated scenarios
  • Work closely with the product/development team to analyze upcoming features or changes in existing ones
  • Make test plans and document test cases in a Test Management Tool
  • Support them in specific testing requests
  • Maintain and enhance internal test framework built for web testing framework (Playwright / Typescript)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Web testing
  • Strong understanding of web testing concepts and methodologies
  • Proficiency in Typescript
  • Hands-on experience with test frameworks like Playwright
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM)
  • Experience using Test Case Management tools
  • Experience of CI/CD pipeline setup
  • Proficiency with GIT
  • Experience with Jira
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Nice to have
