We're on the lookout for a Test Automation Engineer (Web) to join our team working on a social news aggregation platform.

Job Responsibility:

Automate and maintain test suites for different features on Web app
Increase automation coverage and fix tests to maintain pass rate
Monitor hourly and PR test execution reports
Raise issues when they’re found
Support weekly release validations
Manual testing for not automated scenarios
Work closely with the product/development team to analyze upcoming features or changes in existing ones
Make test plans and document test cases in a Test Management Tool
Support them in specific testing requests
Maintain and enhance internal test framework built for web testing framework (Playwright / Typescript)

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in Web testing
Strong understanding of web testing concepts and methodologies
Proficiency in Typescript
Hands-on experience with test frameworks like Playwright
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM)
Experience using Test Case Management tools
Experience of CI/CD pipeline setup
Proficiency with GIT
Experience with Jira
Strong communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Python for API testing
Scripting skills
