Job Description:

We are seeking a Test Engineer who will design, develop and execute tests to ensure high‑quality software delivery across digital products and capabilities. The individual will work closely with engineering teams to validate user stories, debug and optimise test scenarios, and support continuous improvement of quality assurance practices. This role suits someone early in their testing career with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach towards learning.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute and validate tests based on user story and technical acceptance criteria
  • Debug and troubleshoot test issues, providing clear feedback to software engineering teams
  • Identify, document and monitor defects throughout the development lifecycle
  • Track quality assurance metrics including defect density and early‑life incidents
  • Design and implement systems integration and acceptance tests
  • Use automation where applicable and maintain basic familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium

Requirements:

  • 0–3 years of experience in software testing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proactive in learning and developing new technical capabilities
  • Knowledge of test management tools, including HP ALM
  • Awareness of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ISTQB Foundation concepts
  • Fluent English and fluent German (B2 level)
