The candidate will have primary responsibility of software quality assurance from Business perspective. Working as part of Change Management team to assist in testing of projects related to Global Fund Services for timely completion of scheduled projects. Responsible for maintaining overall Book of Work, Costing, Resourcing, and continuous improvement of Testing processes.
Job Responsibility:
Provide functional test analysis, planning, design, execution, and reporting
Ensure accurate and timely execution of testing tasks
Lead domain knowledge building and train the team
Estimation & milestone planning for projects
Highlight risks and issues at management level
Liaison with diverse business and technology functions
Support Project Managers with test plans and documentation
Prepare test cases, scripts, data, and coverage analysis
Conduct analysis of test results
Assist in quality assurance of business requirements and solution design
Manage defect management process
Take defect and client calls
Develop help guides/user manuals/MIS reports
Develop collaborative working relationships with senior clients and technology suppliers
Participate in peer reviews of test documentation
Develop automation approaches for various types of testing
Understand testing scope and prepare test plans
Manage defect calls independently
Ensure innovative solutions for challenging deliveries
Requirements:
4-7 years of experience in testing lifecycle in Investment Banking domain
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Securities and Fund Services domain
Master's degree in computer science or finance
Minimum 4 years of hands-on functional testing experience in Investment Banking domain especially corporate actions
Corporate action processing systems experience
Extensive working experience of all phases of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall and Scrum methodologies
Sound knowledge on Corporate Actions/Pricing/Fund Accounting domain
Exposure to global client and understanding of global work culture
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Strong analytical skills, detail orientation and service commitment
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
Must be prepared to work in shifts including India night shifts
Innovative approach to work and continuously identifies process improvements

Ability to influence change at different levels of the organization
Detailed practical experience with HP Quality Centre/ALM/JIRA
Expertise in MS Office applications particularly Excel and PowerPoint

ISTQB or ISEB testing qualifications
Experience in applications like XSP, COAC, BANCS/SSM/FundGuard/Alladin/InvestOne/GSM/PMC
Hands-on experience on Selenium, UFT, Postman/SOAP UI automated testing tools
Experience in migrating manual testing processes to automated solutions
