Job Description:

As TES Team Lead/ Technical Engineering & Systems Team Lead for The Americas, you will lead a regional team delivering materials, metallurgy, and product quality support across Bradken’s product portfolio. Reporting to the Global Technical Engineering & Systems Manager, this role is critical in executing the Technical Engineering & Systems strategy across the Americas region. This role drives material development, product validation, and continuous improvement in close collaboration with global cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma Metallurgy or Materials Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Metallurgist or Materials Engineer
  • Steel industry and laboratory experience (foundry experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English (Bilingual role)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills
  • High attention to detail and strong project coordination capability

Nice to have:

  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
  • Exposure to NX / Teamcenter or similar engineering systems
  • Experience working in mining, industrial manufacturing, or global engineering environments
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of foundry processes and material characterization techniques
