Your new role as Territory Specialist - Brisbane South & Gold Coast. As a Territory Specialist for the area you will be responsible for liaising with diabetes specialists such as endocrinologists, diabetes educators, advance trainers & GPs to advocate the organisation's medical device and its treatment in type 1 and type 2 diabetic patients. You will be look after a designated territory and be responsible for providing superior education and support to Health Care Professionals (Endo, DNE, Pharmacists & GP) across Greenslopes, Mt Gravatt, Redland Bay, Logan City, Gold Coast, Northern NSW and Mackay/Whitsundays, to be based in QLD, through pre planned appointments scheduled at a defined quarterly frequency. This is a high-impact, autonomous role focused on driving both sales and clinical adoption of our life-changing device for diabetes patients.
Job Responsibility:
Liaising with diabetes specialists such as endocrinologists, diabetes educators, advance trainers & GPs to advocate the organisation's medical device and its treatment in type 1 and type 2 diabetic patients
Providing superior education and support to Health Care Professionals across Greenslopes, Mt Gravatt, Redland Bay, Logan City, Gold Coast, Northern NSW and Mackay/Whitsundays
Accountable for all sales and promotional activity in a defined sales territory
Focus on identifying opportunities, a hunger for acquiring new business, while growing all existing accounts
Implement specific sales strategies for targeted accounts and ensure positive sales outcome
Initiate the development of close relationships with key accounts
Prospect new business opportunities with current and new company products
Prepare proposals for business opportunities
Understand the competitor's environment including product offerings and strengths/weaknesses
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in a Science discipline is ideal
Relevant industry sales experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals
Proven track record in delivering sales targets with demonstrated proficiency with selling skills in a sales framework is advantageous
Customer-centric mindset, active listening, genuine empathy and a strong desire to resolve issues
deliver a high level of customer focused service to internal and external customers
