Position Summary: The purpose of this role is to ensure customer needs are met and that the company's presence within the assigned territory aligns with company's standards and expectations. The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for coordinating with Retail Sales Merchandisers (RSM's) and/or Merchandiser's in the areas of merchandising, promotions, displays and other sales opportunities within assigned accounts or territories, with the goal of growing volume, share, revenue, and profit. This role also oversees relationships with key accounts to ensure excellent customer service, drive sales and strengthen market share at the store level.
Job Responsibility:
Audit store accounts to ensure Company standards are met and identify opportunities to expand product lines by selling in additional items
Merchandise product and promotional materials as needed
Maintain regular communication with store managers to understand product and merchandising needs and maintain positive working relationships
Coordinate with Retail Sales Merchandisers (as applicable by franchise) to ensure current and upcoming products and promotions are ordered appropriately to meet store needs
Ensure store managers comply with LinPepCo agreements, promotional signage requirements, and pricing standards
Clean and replace signs, displays, glides, racks and cold barrels as needed
Stock and rotate product on shelves
Provide excellent customer service
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma and two years of related route sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid driver's license
Valid pallet jack and/or forklift certification
Knowledge of inventory management and general merchandising
Understanding of principles and practices related to customer service
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Basic proficiency with computers and tablets
Effective oral and written communication skills
Skill in coordinating the work of others
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills
