Territory Sales Manager for Northern California (including Hawaii) for a rapidly growing medical device manufacturer. The role involves building market presence, relationship-based selling, and calling on diverse healthcare stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan
Identify target accounts and drive new customer acquisition through strategic prospecting and cold outreach
Conduct product demonstrations, in-services, educational programs, and procedural observations
Build and own relationships across physicians, therapists, hospital purchasing, biomed departments, clinic leadership, and VA stakeholders
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and support teams to ensure strong customer experience
Provide training support to eligible patients within the territory
Maintain disciplined follow-up and CRM activity to drive sustained growth
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of successful sales experience with documented year-over-year growth
Experience in medical device, diagnostics, or B2B sales
Proven ability to educate and influence physicians, therapists, and healthcare administrators
Strong relationship-building skills with a long-term account management mindset
High integrity, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
Highly organized with strong follow-through
Ability to travel up to 50% (car and air)
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Experience selling into the VA system
