As a Territory Manager for our Therma-Tru brand—also representing Fypon and Larson—you will play a key role in driving top-line sales growth within your assigned territory. You will cultivate relationships with key and prospective distributor accounts, leveraging deep product knowledge to drive conversion, expand market penetration, and strengthen brand presence. You will serve as the company’s front-line ambassador, building and maintaining high-value relationships with executives and decision-makers across purchasing, estimating, construction, operations, sales, architecture, design, and finance within customer and prospect organizations.
Job Responsibility:
Develop a business plan and sales targets to drive market and channel growth within your assigned territory
Maintain ownership of existing customer relationships while dedicating the majority of your time to developing new relationships with key distributors, dealers, and builders
Act as the primary point of escalation for customer account issues raised by Segment Managers or Specialists
Collaborate with Regional Managers (RMs) to establish market pricing aligned with current market conditions
Partner with RMs, R&D, Engineering, and Quality teams to share competitive insights, product feedback, and field performance observations
Educate and train customers on the full suite of Therma-Tru, Fypon, and Larson products, including value-added services
Present and implement marketing, merchandising, and promotional programs with customers
Proactively assist in resolving service issues in partnership with the Customer Service team
Complete administrative tasks—including activity reports, opportunity tracking, and expense management—accurately and on time
Maintain an up-to-date database of customers and prospects
Attend industry trade shows and events as necessary
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned in support of business objectives
Requirements:
3–5+ years of field sales experience in the building materials industry
experience with doors, trim, or exterior building products preferred
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships with distributors, dealers, and builders
Highly autonomous with strong time-management and territory-planning skills
Strong verbal communication, presentation, and product demonstration abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel overnight approximately 50% of the time
Nice to have:
Experience selling doors, trim, or related building materials
