As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.
Job Responsibility:
Achieve sales quotas across a diverse portfolio including Baxter’s Pharma, Access, Drug Delivery, Nutrition, and Fluid Therapy products
Implement sales strategies and execute business plans to deliver on volume, product mix, and profit objectives
Call on acute‑care hospital customers
deliver effective presentations
and provide product information, demonstrations, and education
Partner closely with Infusion Systems and the broader Baxter team to meet goals and objectives
Protect, service, and grow the existing customer base
Manage and optimize Baxter’s GPO contracts
Serve as a resource for market information to management and marketing teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or 6+ years of relevant industry experience
Three years of medical/hospital sales experience preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to analyze and interpret data to support effective sales strategies
Willingness to travel to both remote and urban locations, independently or with other personnel
Proven sales performance, a strong team orientation, and solid organizational skills
