Job Responsibility:
Proactively hunt for and secure new business opportunities within the industrial and retail sectors across the GTA West territory
Conduct technical site assessments to design custom storage and racking solutions tailored to specific client operational needs
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial cold calling and lead generation to closing the deal and overseeing the final installation
Partner with Business Owners, Maintenance Managers, and C-suite executives to deliver consultative sales presentations
Coordinate with third-party vendors and installation crews to ensure projects are completed on time and according to technical specifications
Maintain and grow a dedicated account base, performing regular check-ins to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities
Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage the pipeline, and provide accurate forecasting to the Sales Manager
Attend weekly strategy meetings at the Oakville head office to collaborate with the engineering and operations teams
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technical advancements in racking systems to maintain a competitive edge
Requirements:
2–3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within industrial, construction, or technical sales environments
Residing within the GTA West / Halton region (Oakville, Burlington, Milton) for optimal territory coverage
Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for daily travel to client sites
Demonstrated ability to manage a long-cycle sales process involving multiple stakeholders
Experience in technical solution selling or selling 'projects' rather than just 'products'
Ability to pass a background check as required by the client's safety and security protocols
