Job Description:

Are you a high-energy sales professional with a 'hunter' mentality and a passion for technical solution design? We are currently seeking a dynamic Territory Manager – GTA West to join a premier North American leader in industrial storage and racking solutions. This is not just a standard sales role; it is a strategic opportunity to manage a thriving territory encompassing Oakville, Milton, Halton, Waterdown, and Burlington. As a Territory Manager – GTA West, you will be the face of the company in the field, spending 75% of your time identifying and closing new business opportunities while providing expert consultation to a variety of industrial and retail clients. In this sales position, you will act as a consultant and project manager, bridging the gap between client needs and high-quality engineering solutions. Whether you are walking a warehouse floor with a Maintenance Manager or presenting a ROI-focused proposal to a CFO, your ability to communicate value is paramount. This Territory Manager – GTA West role is available due to a recent internal promotion, highlighting the organization's commitment to career development and recognizing top-tier sales talent. You will be supported by a weekly collaborative meeting environment at the Oakville head office, ensuring you have the tools and team backing to exceed your targets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Proactively hunt for and secure new business opportunities within the industrial and retail sectors across the GTA West territory
  • Conduct technical site assessments to design custom storage and racking solutions tailored to specific client operational needs
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial cold calling and lead generation to closing the deal and overseeing the final installation
  • Partner with Business Owners, Maintenance Managers, and C-suite executives to deliver consultative sales presentations
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and installation crews to ensure projects are completed on time and according to technical specifications
  • Maintain and grow a dedicated account base, performing regular check-ins to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage the pipeline, and provide accurate forecasting to the Sales Manager
  • Attend weekly strategy meetings at the Oakville head office to collaborate with the engineering and operations teams
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technical advancements in racking systems to maintain a competitive edge

Requirements:

  • 2–3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within industrial, construction, or technical sales environments
  • Residing within the GTA West / Halton region (Oakville, Burlington, Milton) for optimal territory coverage
  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for daily travel to client sites
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a long-cycle sales process involving multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in technical solution selling or selling 'projects' rather than just 'products'
  • Ability to pass a background check as required by the client's safety and security protocols
What we offer:
  • Lucrative Earning Potential: Competitive base salary of $90k - $110k with uncapped commissions and an OTE of $150k
  • Comprehensive Training: A deep-dive, 3-month technical and product training program at the Oakville head office
  • Autonomy & Flexibility: Field-based role (75% travel) with the freedom to manage your own schedule and territory
  • Career Growth: A culture that prioritizes internal advancement and recognizes high-performing sales professionals
  • Full Sales Support: Company-provided vehicle allowance ($700/month), laptop, cell phone, and corporate tools
  • Robust Benefits: Comprehensive social benefits package and a supportive, professional team culture
  • Strategic Territory: Management of the GTA West region, one of the most active industrial hubs in North America
