Job Description:

Our client, a major manufacturer of efficient, reliable material handling equipment such as forklifts, people-lifters, and other industrial electric vehicles, is looking for a driven Business Development Representative to win new business opportunities. This role provides a chance for professionals to take their careers to the next level.

Job Responsibility:

Prospect, cold call, develop and close new business
Maintain a strong sales funnel with a focus on activity to ensure sales targets and goals are met
Familiarizing oneself with market conditions, industry, and competitor standards
Participate and collaborate with the sales team for ongoing efforts to meet the organization's business objectives
Present product information regarding features, benefits, and new product/service offerings to customers

Requirements:

At least 2 years of sales experience - industrial sales experience is an asset
A self-starter who is results-driven, competitive, professional, and a team player
Strong computer skills with proficiency with MS Office and other related programs
Solid track record of sales results
Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred
You must have a PASSION for sales and enjoy cold calling

Nice to have:

Industrial sales experience is an asset
Post-secondary degree or diploma is preferred
