As a Territory Account Manager – Industrial Automation, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to maintain existing customer relationships while identifying and closing new growth opportunities. Your focus will be on driving revenue, expanding account penetration, and delivering value-based solutions to customers within an assigned territory. In this role, you will own the account strategy for key customers, build relationships at multiple organizational levels, and understand customer operations, business goals, and decision-making processes. You will actively manage a healthy sales funnel, pursue new business opportunities, and lead deals from qualification through close. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership, technical resources, partners, and internal teams to design and present solutions aligned to customer needs. This position operates in a hybrid work environment based in Kalamazoo, MI, with significant local travel required to support customer engagements.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
Ability to travel locally more than 50% of the time
Valid driver’s license
Nice to have:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field
5+ years of experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, manufacturing operations, systems integration, or an engineering-focused environment
Experience selling to or supporting industrial automation customers, including plant operations and manufacturing facilities
Proven ability to work with all levels of customer organizations, including executives, plant managers, engineers, and OEM machine builders
Strong understanding of industrial applications, standards, regulations, and market trends
Experience managing opportunity pipelines and customer data using CRM systems
Ability to negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and conditions through distributor or partner channels
Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with technical and sales teams
