Job Description:

This role serves as subject matter expert for cloud infrastructure as code and automation. Work involves building and maintaining cloud systems, projects and terraform and Jenkins pipelines while also providing technical support. Resources to do the job require understanding of cloud platforms (OCI, Azure and AWS).

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides engineering consulting and recommendations for all new Cloud systems
  • Defines and monitors multiple project priorities and provides technical and administrative supervision
  • Documents all projects deployed and ensures cross-training to team members is completed
  • Builds, develops, and manages technical solutions on Cloud
  • Engineering, automating, and orchestrating system provisioning and maintenance processes using modern cloud tools and technologies
  • Understanding the needs for new initiatives to build scalable, distributed and high-performance computing cloud-based platform solutions
  • Collaborating with solutions architects, application developers and security teams to follow best practices
  • Installing configuring, maintaining, and supporting applications and systems in public cloud environments
  • Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, terraform coding and providing associated training as required
  • Provides a current, well-managed operating environment for production processing and application development
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by monitoring systems and submitted through the ticketing system
  • Provides support on all systems to meet departmental Service Level Agreements
  • Provides support for business continuity, cloud or on-site support for annual disaster recovery test
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments

Requirements:

  • Strong coding skills in Terraform
  • Any one cloud expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI
  • preference is AWS)
  • Jenkins and Python/shell scripting basics
  • strong with Terraform, Sentinel/OPA, Python/Shell and GitHub Actions
  • Experience provisioning, configuring and maintaining cloud computing services such as OCI, Azure and AWS
  • Serves as expert for terraform code, modules, pipelines
  • Proficient knowledge with Python and shell scripting
  • Deep level expertise with Jenkins and Groovy
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements
  • Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data -- this role is considered to be a High Risk Role
