Auckland Airport is looking for a Terminal Services Coordinator to play a pivotal role in ensuring our International and Domestic Terminals consistently deliver an exceptional experience for passengers, partners and stakeholders. This is a hands‑on, operational role where no two days are the same. You’ll be at the heart of terminal activity, working closely with service providers, facilities, engineering and airport operations to ensure our terminals look, feel and operate at their very best.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure the presentation, cleanliness and functionality of both terminals meet Auckland Airport’s high standards
Monitor and manage contractor performance across cleaning, waste, trolley and other services, addressing issues in real time
Act as the day‑to‑day operational liaison between terminal teams, Airport Operations and the Operations Control Centre
Coordinate repair and maintenance activities in partnership with Facilities Management and Engineering Services
Oversee and support terminal works, ensuring customer impacts are assessed, communicated and minimised
Champion the customer experience, using insights such as VOC scores and feedback to drive continuous improvement
Conduct regular audits and calibration reviews, providing coaching and feedback to service partners
Support operational readiness for new or changed products, services, facilities and assets
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5 years’ experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, airport, airline or other complex operational environments
Proven experience managing service providers or contractors in a live operational setting
Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability to bring others on the journey
A sharp eye for detail and the ability to work calmly under pressure and to tight timeframes
A collaborative, values‑based approach with resilience and tenacity
Sound commercial awareness and confidence working across multiple stakeholders
