Job Description:

Join a leading company in the bulk fuel terminal industry as a Terminal Rail Unloader/Support, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient rail transload operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently for proper product transloading
  • Conduct plant and equipment inspections, completing daily compliance tasks
  • Ensure railcars are equipped for loading/unloading of commodities, including dangerous goods
  • Communicate with switching crews for safe and efficient product transfer
  • Perform maintenance tasks during non-transloading operations
  • Support terminal product movement through various operational tasks
  • Read and write documentation, including safety briefings and policy manuals
  • Maintain physical fitness to perform tasks related to railcar operations

Requirements:

  • Rail Signalling & Controls: Knowledge of rail systems and controls
  • Terminal Operations: Experience in bulk fuel terminal operations
  • Rail Unloading: Proficiency in unloading processes and safety protocols
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with technology and computer systems, including Excel and Outlook
  • Problem Solving: Strong decision-making abilities
  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant certifications preferred
  • Experience: Previous experience in rail operations or terminal support is an asset
