Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and hospitality-driven Contract Tennis/Pickleball Instructor to join our team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality tennis lessons to individuals and groups of varying skill levels, focusing on technique, strategy, and game improvement
  • Create structured lesson plans tailored to the needs and abilities of students, ensuring progressive skill development and a positive learning experience
  • Oversee the upkeep of tennis courts, ensuring they are properly maintained and safe for use
  • Manage inventory and maintenance of tennis equipment, including racquets, balls, and teaching aids
  • Actively market and promote tennis programs and lessons to attract new participants and retain existing members
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a tennis instructor for a minimum of 3-5 years, with a proven track record of effectively teaching players of all ages and skill levels
  • Possession of a valid teaching certification from a recognized tennis association (e.g., USPTA or PTR)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively communicate instructions, feedback, and encouragement to students
  • Genuine passion for the sport of tennis and teaching
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods and lesson plans to accommodate different learning styles and individual student needs
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional customer service to members and guests, ensuring a positive experience on and off the court
  • Flexibility to work any day, including weekends and holidays, as requested by members
