Job Description

The tendering Engineer role is a pivotal position within this ICP. it’s centred around managing customer inquiries, orders, and compiling multi-utility tenders for their most pivotal and challenging projects. The scopes will include the customer-owned ‘High Voltage’ electrical networks, Primary iDNO substations, associated Grid connections and alike.

Job Responsibility

  • Undertake design, proposal, and estimating for tender projects in multi-utilities
  • Support the Regional Sales & Tendering Manager and Senior Engineer as needed
  • Prioritize and complete tender projects within set timeframes, ensuring compliance and quality
  • Proactively manage risks during tender creation
  • Meet individual project tendering goals and contribute to the company's overall sales target
  • Maintain Sales/Project Handover documentation in line with the company’s Business Management System (BMS)
  • Engage in Continual Professional Development (CPD) activities

Requirements

  • Desire to learn, apply skills, and succeed
  • Experience in a utility/construction/services engineering sales environment
  • Proven record of achieving sales targets
  • Knowledge of tendering in MEICA/Utility Technical Construction and/or T&D networks
  • Design development and robust quotation experience
  • AutoCAD and Microsoft Office proficiency, including Microsoft Project
