As Tender Manager Capital, you will play a central role within the Product Line Capital of Van Oord. This division is built on decades of experience in international dredging projects — from waterway deepening and port extensions to land reclamation works. These are essential projects that shape the world of tomorrow. With our rich heritage and proven track record, Van Oord is a key player in the global market. You are responsible for developing your team into the best tender team in the market and ensuring that we submit winning, value-driven proposals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Building and developing the best tender team in the market
  • Understanding customer needs and translating them into winning tender strategies
  • Coaching and challenging your team and other departments to develop new and innovative ideas
  • Leading Joint Venture discussions with partners and representing Van Oord’s interests

Requirements:

  • A relevant college or university degree (e.g. Civil Engineering, Business Administration or Communication)
  • Affinity with the civil engineering sector
  • At least 10 years of experience in execution and/or tendering of international dredging projects
  • Strong strategic and communication skills and experience in a similar leadership role
  • Excellent command of the English language, spoken and written
