Our client, a highly regarded commercial real estate firm based in Boston, is seeking a Tenant Coordinator to join their property management team. Reporting to the General Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting tenant relations and coordinating with ownership representatives, accounting, and asset management. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone early in their real estate career who is looking to grow within a collaborative and professional environment.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and service vendors
Manage and track requests through a computerized property management work order system
Prepare and submit tenant bill-backs for work orders and utilities
coordinate with accounting for Yardi processing
Process miscellaneous tenant charges and assist with collections follow-up as needed
Review rent statements for accuracy and support receivables follow-up, including preparation of legal notices when necessary
Maintain accurate tenant contact records in Building Engines and coordinate tenant access with building security
Abstract leases and provide key information to accounting
maintain a strong understanding of lease terms and requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
0–3 years of real estate or property management experience preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
experience with Yardi and/or Building Engines is a plus
Solid communication and organizational skills
Basic understanding of accounting, finance, and business math
Strong client service mindset with the ability to build effective working relationships
Nice to have:
