This role sits at the heart of a local housing service that goes beyond traditional lettings – supporting residents to sustain tenancies, access wider support, and feel genuinely at home in their community.
Job Responsibility:
Letting homes quickly, fairly, and in line with organisational policies
Supporting new tenants through sign-ups and early tenancy stages
Managing tenancy changes, queries, and day-to-day housing issues
Working proactively to support residents to sustain successful tenancies
Maintaining accurate housing records and documentation
Building positive, trusting relationships with tenants
Supporting residents to resolve challenges and maintain housing stability
Linking tenants to wider support services and community initiatives
Taking a proactive approach to neighbourhood wellbeing and safety
Working closely with internal teams to deliver joined-up services
Contributing to a customer-focused, supportive housing service
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and tenant experience
Requirements:
Experience working in housing, lettings, or the rented sector
Strong understanding of tenancy management and resident support
Confidence working directly with tenants and addressing housing challenges
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy, people-focused role
Passionate about housing, community, and social impact
Empathetic, approachable, and solution-focused
Proactive and motivated, with a strong sense of purpose
Committed to fairness, inclusion, and high standards of service
