As a Tenancy Sustainment Officer, you'll deliver tailored housing-related support while working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure tenants live safely and independently. You'll take a proactive, person-centred approach, helping individuals overcome barriers, manage their tenancies, and move towards long-term stability.
Job Responsibility
Deliver one on one support through keywork sessions and develop personalised Tenancy Sustainment Plans (TSPs)
Support tenants with complex needs to maintain independent living
Carry out and review risk assessments regularly
Help tenants access health, housing, welfare and support services
Assist with rent arrears, benefits claims, and financial wellbeing
Support the management of anti-social behaviour and tenancy issues
Respond to tenancy abandonment and property-related issues
Ensure properties are safe, secure, and maintained in line with standards
Work closely with local authorities and external agencies to provide holistic support
Attend multi-agency meetings and contribute to coordinated care plans
Build strong relationships with community organisations and services
Maintain accurate records and use internal systems effectively
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safeguarding requirements
